5:30pm doors open
6-8:30pm event
101 Bear Street, Banff (Catharine Robb Whyte Building, above Banff Library)

Join BanffLIFE, Banff Pride and Frankie D’s Donuts after the Pride Parade for an evening of donut decorating, conversation and connection for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies.

Making new friends can feel awkward, especially when it seems like everyone else already knows one another. Donut decorating gives us something playful and creative to do together while conversation prompts make it easier to connect.

Mak from Frankie D’s will guide everyone through the decorating activities and conversations. You may decorate, talk, listen or pass on any question. There is no expectation to share personal information or participate in every activity.

Come celebrate Pride, be who you are and connect with some new soon-to-be friends. Come alone or bring someone with you.

The evening will include:

- Donut decorating with glazes and toppings
- Conversation prompts to help you connect
- Activities designed to make meeting new people feel easier
- Frankie D’s Donuts to decorate and eat
- An inclusive space where you can participate at your own comfort level

This gathering is intended to be welcoming and affirming for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies.
